The "Blizzard of '96" at Otter Run

The "Blizzard of '96" was Big Fun at Otter Run. We were snowed in for almost exactly 7 days: Saturday night to Saturday afternoon. I had gotten a displosable panoramic camera in my stocking for Christmas, so I went out the day after the first strom and shoot all the film in it. I also took the Spaniels out cross country skiing in the deep snow, so there's a mess of Spaniel shots in here.

Hunker down to snap a shot, and it's -- PUPATTACK!!!

Why they call them "Springers." You can tell by the flying ears that she's well past apogee.

Sunrise from our bedroom.

Ice on the trees at sunrise, seen from our bedroom.
